Burt Reynolds RIP

gozzy said:

A man's man.

He had hair on his chest and didn't care who knew.

He was a heterosexual tornado that tore through the hymens of Hollywood in the 70s, dodging AIDs bullets favor a sexual Arnie, that winning smile capped by a magnificent testosterone musher that flashed his alpha status up and down the boulevard sending lesser men scurrying for the b-list starlets.

The sweaty manliness of the earth has reduced, and we are left with floppy haired smooth boys who prefer TED Talks to T&A.

May God fling him onto a cloudy waterbed of nubile wenches that his cosmic lust may be assuaged for eternity.

Let him RIP.

Very true...he just had a lot of fun on camera and I'm sure in bed with lots of lasses. A real alpha male.

But not so insecure in his sexuality (very hetero but us gay guys could dream...) to feel the require to make blatantly homophobic remarks.

RIP Burt - they don't make actirs like that anymore...

And just like that, we somehow made it to Friday yet again. Nice for us all! Seriously, at this point survival is about all we can hope for these days–what with the world aflame, all the hatred and divisiveness in our society and culture, a pandemic, and all this economic uncertainty. I’ve noticed on social media a tendency for people to be hesitant about terrific things that are happening for them, whether personal or professional or both, and to them I declare shout it out from the rooftops! We all necessitate to find some joy in this life and society these days, and for heaven’s sakes, don’t feel at fault because good things are happening for you during tough times!

And anyone who looks at your good news and finds it inappropriate or whatever–really should take a extended, hard look at themselves and their values, because if you have reached a point in your life where you cannot be happy for other people’s good news….maybe you shouldn’t be on social media at all and need to withdraw to heal yourself for a while.

I’ll take any pleasure or happiness I can find anywhere in this year 2020.

We all should, frankly.

Wednesday I saw a notice on soc

Sally Field names Burt Reynolds as ‘worst’ on-screen kiss.

Sally Field has named Burt Reynolds as her “worst” on-screen kiss.

The Oscar-winner, 76, shamed the late player, with whom she starred in ‘Smokey and the Bandit' and who she dated, when a viewer of Thursday's episode (02.12.22) of ‘Watch What Happens Live' asked her to describe her least favourite clip smooch.

She asked: “Shall I really label names here?” before host Andy Cohen urged: “I believe you should,.”

Sally went on: “OK, this is gonna be a shocker. Contain on, folks. Burt Reynolds.

“It was just not something he really did very well. I could go into detail, but you don't want to perceive it.”

When Andy asked if ‘Boogie Nights' actor Burt, who was killed by a heart invade aged 82 in September 2018, used too much “tongue” Sally clarified: “Just a lot of drooling was involved.”

Sally was in a relationship with Burt from 1976 to 1982 has called their bond “indelible” and told Page Six after the Hollywood veteran's death: “There are times in your animation that … never fade away.

“They endure alive, even 40 years later. My years with Burt never leave my mind.

“He will be in my history and my heart, for as drawn-out as I survive . R

How long do you estimate before the truth about the sdelayed Burt Reynolds's sexuality is made known to the wider public?

R30 He was nothing at all like he appeared in movies. Very quiet, almost shy demeanor. He and Charles Nelson Reilly ran the apprentice classes/ program and everyone just knew Burt and CRN and even Dom Delouise were gay. Nobody really cared within that circle.

I personally witnessed the aforementioned trio going out late at night with us ( male apprentices). There was a lot of inneundo and drugs.

Females who worked for Burt considered him totally protected and we're never invited to the late night after parties.

I actually had my first rim job from a guy who was one of Burt's lovers at the pool at Burt's house on Jupiter Island. I was very young. It was a wild scene. But it was just the way it was at the time.

I am trying to remember more details and dish...uh Dick Cavett was a pothead...I never saw Loni Anderson - ever. Martin Sheen pinged to me. Adrienne Barbeau was a sweetheart....
