    Saunas in Portugal are not as common as one would expect, however, the relatively few saunas you detect in Lisbon and Porto are clean and safe, even if they are not as immense as some found in other cities of comparable size in Europe. Many saunas are active after work (from about 18 to 21h) and those opening late are often quite engaged between midnight and 4h. Most saunas are very popular on Sunday afternoons, especially off-season (i.e. when it's not beach weather!) It is very rare to find rent boys (prostitutes) operational in the saunas so, if you do encounter one, he will certainly explain that he is for hire before he gets you too excited.

It has 240 square meters, split between two floors: the first has a bar, a dry sauna cabin, a Turkish bath, locker rooms and showers; the second floor has a community room with magazines and a TV set showing gay porn flicks, several closed cabins and a larger, unseal one.
