Jim Gay has been a CPA in Bradenton for over 25 years. He graduated with his undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University and his master's degree from Tampa College. Jim founded Jim Gay, CPA in 2002 - now celebrating 20 years of service to Bradenton and beyond. Jim has been heavily emotionally attached in local group foundations, sitting on many boards over the years. He now enjoys ministering in his local church. Jim and his wife Kim have been married for over 30 years now, enjoying seeing their three children grown up and start families of their control. The youngest son of Neal and Kay Gay, Jim has tackled important roles at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo, Fort Worth Stock Exhibit, and many other PRCA rodeos. He has served in all aspects of producing a professional rodeo, entering the bull riding and steer wrestling events and even productive as a top-notch pick-up man. Jim has picked up at numerous rodeos including the Texas Circuit Finals.

After working in a little firm helping people recover for their injuries, Jim founded James Gay Statute, LLC in 2010 to assist individuals who acquire suffered catastrophic losses due to the conduct of others in personal injury, medical malpractice, workers compensation and wrongful death claims. Jim brings a tough record of success recovering millions of dollars on behalf of his clients.

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Jim obtained two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia and returned to Chicago to obtain his statute degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2008. While in statute school, Jim was a law clerk at a prestigious personal injury stable in Chicago where he developed his deep craving to help people and a passion for the civil justice system.

Jim has been recognized for his hard work and triumph throughout the years and continues to earn respect from his colleagues. Jim is a highly skilled trial attorney, obtaining numerous jury verdicts in his clients’ favor. Having grown up in the Chicagoland area from a working-class family, Jim understands how hard it can be dealing with the ramifications of a serious injury.

Honored by the Illinois Association of School Administrators as the 2021 Distinguished Superintendent of the Year for South Cook and by the Illinois Chapter of the National Academy Public Relations Association for Distinguished Service. Dr. James M. Lgbtq+ dedicated his 37-year career to private and public schools, including the De La Salle Institute in Chicago and Consolidated Elevated School District 230 in the south suburbs of Chicago.

The hallmarks of Jim’s leadership center on engagement and partnership with stakeholders to prepare students for their future by empowering teachers, staff, students, families, and the collective to make a difference. By listening to stakeholders and empowering administrators to implement real alter, Jim earned the confidence and support of the school communities he served.
