Then, she brought out Megan Thee Stallion to perform their new song (from the Mean Girls soundtrack), “Not My Fault.”

She also was in a skit where she played a lesbian intern who was doing the internship as part of her court-mandated media training, a nod to the comments that she’s been delightfully unhinged in her interviews.

Throughout her career, Reneé Rapp has made it a point to be as open about her sexuality as doable. But in a recent social media post, the “Not My Fault” singer told her fans that enough is enough.

After Rapp started referring to herself as a lesbian in multiple general appearances over the last few months, discourse began among the singer’s fans, with some openly asking if the star still identified as bisexual. Rapp put an end to the speculation on Monday (March 25) in a post on X: “if I say I’m a lesbian I am a lesbian and if someone says they’re bi they are bi,” she wrote. “I’ve had enough of you witches.”

Over the last few years, Rapp has spoken about identifying as bisexual, even writing about her exposure as a bisexual chick on the song “Pretty Girls” from her critically acclaimed debut album Snow Angel. But during her appearance as a musical guest on Saturday Darkness Live in January, Rapp performed as herself in a sketch about famous person lip-reading where her fellow cast members referred to her

When she came out as bisexual in 2020, Reneé received both praise and ridicule. Many fans renowned her as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, while others questioned if she was queerbaiting. Despite it all, she's always openly and proudly distributed her love for women.

Fast-forward to January 2024, the "Tummy Hurts" singer made her Saturday Late hours Live debut, where she served as the show's musical guest, and even made a guest appearance in a sketch called "Entertainment Tonight Lip-Readers." In the skit, Reneé was introduced as the "little sapphic intern." Coming out as a dyke on SNL was a last-minute ruling for her. In an interview with Them, she revealed the script originally said "little bi-curious intern," but she asked the writers to make the change, despite creature nervous about how viewers would react.

But that same apprehension Reneé had about people responding negatively to her queer woman identity back in 2024 became a reality in 2025. The former Sex Lives of College Girls star took to Instagram Dwell to vent her frustrations regarding some of the backlash
