I have specific information at the end of this post about the most recent episode of "Suits" -- including thoughts from series creator Aaron Korsh about a questionable thing two guide characters did -- but first, a generality:

"Suits" is delightful.

This commandment drama is not perfect (and my exchange with Korsh revolves about one aspect of last week's episode that didn't quite work for me). But I hasten to add that whatever flaws the show has are minor, and my opinion isn't too far off from that of critic Matt Zoller Seitz, who recently wrote that it "might be the most purely entertaining series on television." (By the way, if you schedule to catch up on "Suits" -- which I recommend -- you can read everything before the Korsh portion of this post without being spoiled on Season 1, 2 or 3 plot developments.)

Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and Nigel Nesbitt (Adam Godley) have been frenemies all through Season 3 of "Suits."

An incredibly powerful New York law firm. It came under the control of Jessica Pearson after she and Daniel Hardman staged a coup against the original name partners. The firm is notable in that it has a long-standing policy of only hiring Harvard Law Educational facility graduates with less than a handful of exceptions.
  • Meaningful Rename: While the other wiki and In-Universe legal technicalities establish them as separate firms, it's really the same firm going all the way endorse to when it was originally Gordon Schmidt Van Dyke.
  • Running Gag: There hold been so many call partners coming and going at Pearson Specter Litt

    Brian wakes up, hungover and remembers another evening drinking far too much, and flirting with the “bulky, tattooed doorman” in the vain optimism he’d score.
    He’s a twenty-five-year-old werewolf, and was turned five years ago, whilst at Uni.
    He moved to the city a year ago, but still has lots of unpacked boxes.
    The opening chapters in his apartment, is a wonderful character metaphor for our narrator. It’s also an terrific representation of depression and mental health issues. Or loneliness and boredom.
    It makes sense when we’re shown what Brian’s life was like before he was turned and what he’s had to deal with as a homosexual man with Christian parents. Add the werewolf thing and it’s understandable he’s not a content bunny – sorry, wolf.
    All he has is his job at The Romanesco, his friends Nik and Darby, his cheap studio apartment and not much else. Brian is described as a “chubby hipster” and he drinks far too much. Like many of us, he uses alcohol to dampen the pain and ennui.
    After his recent shift, he finds scratches on his side. Then Tyler turns up where he works, handing him a business car
